Addis
Garden Design now runs Helperby Nurseries.
We are currently contract growing for our current and future
projects and hope to open to the public this coming autumn.

We are
getting ready to begin the replanting of The Lords Of The Manor
Hotel near Stow on the Wolds. This
seven acre garden will be completely revamped. Massed perennial and
grass planting will dominate. We will also be restoring the kitchen
garden. This will be a 2-3 year ongoing project. Photos will follow
later this year.

We
have began work in March 08 on the the Devonshire Arms at Beeley,
Derbyshire. We are creating a garden
for guests to enjoy the fabulous surroundings of the Peak District.

Continuing work at the 3 large country houses we have been involved
with over the past 8 years. We are
undertaking the general maintenance and further developments at
these sites, the largest of which is 12 acres.

Art
Decco Garden completed last year. This
garden has featured in the Yorkshire Post and Homes and Gardens.
Garden constructed around the only Art Decco house in this area.

We
have been involved with the development of a new hotel in Uxbridge,
London. The site is around 7 acres and
the master plans were completed last year. This is an ongoing
project and may take up to five years to complete.

We are
working on a long term project in Bedale North Yorkshire.
We will be continuing with major planting schemes here during 08.

The
final drawings for a 2 acre garden have just been completed.
Currently a carpark, this site will be transformed into new gardens
consisting of contoured grass mounds and massed perennial plantings.
3000 tonnes of soil will be imported this spring with the major
planting due to commence in autumn 08. We have just completed the
construction of a 2000 sqm lake on this site.

March
08 sees the construction/renovation of a large garden near
Harrogate, North Yorkshire. New lawns,
Ha-Ha’s, meadows, a tree planting program and beds and borders of
massed perennial plantings form the main design ideas.

The
gardens of two barn conversions are still in the development stages.

Private
garden outside York. Decking on different levels, black slate
and evergreens form this scheme.

This
autumn work will commence on the construction of a garden around a
Jacobean House in Halifax, West Yorkshire.
This garden was designed in '07 and consists of integrate box
hedging designs filled with perennials and bulbs.

of small garden east of York, consisting of raised beds and a
circular seating area.
